Gain paid experience and money while studying at Canada's innovation university!

Pursuing a university education can be a big investment no matter where you choose to go. But if you’re planning on studying in a different country? There’s definitely a lot more to consider.

The University of Waterloo offers many scholarships, bursaries, and work opportunities to help you pay for your education.

Waterloo students can earn between $45,000 and $85,000 CAD and gain up to 2 years of related work experience through North America's largest co-op (internship) program. You can also apply for jobs through our international work-study program and earn money while working right on campus.

Most entrance scholarships at Waterloo are based on academic performance and you will be automatically considered for most of these scholarships once you apply to Waterloo. We provide over $30 million in student aid each year, including international student scholarships valued at $10,000 CAD each.

For other sources of scholarships and financial aid, be sure to keep an eye on websites such as Scholarships Canada and Yconic as they often post many different types of scholarships!
