Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) work in the fields of mental health and developmental habilitation with individuals, families, groups, or communities. Brandon University’s School of Health Studies and The University of Winnipeg have teamed up to offer a dynamic program in Psychiatric Nursing. The Psychiatric Nursing program consists of a total of four years, all of which may be completed in Winnipeg.
Graduates of this program can be licensed as Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) and find work in government agencies, health care facilities, correctional institutions, group homes, crisis units, personal care homes, addiction agencies, community services, and agencies for persons with developmental handicaps.
