This program is designed for students who plan to teach the visual arts in a nonschool or alternative teaching situation. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of the field of art education and in their final year focus on their professional practice and performance as community art educators in settings such as community centres, adult education programs, recreation programs and museums.

Grade 12 English
Quebec CEGEPS applicants must have completion of a two-year pre-university program or a three-year professional DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales). For students from other provinces, Concordia requires a high school diploma and between four and five Grade 12 subjects.
