Health Promotion is an academic area of study and a professional field. The goal of the program is to prepare professionals to promote, maintain and improve the health and well being of individual groups, families, and communities. There are two streams: the Community Health Promotion and Health Promotion Research and Policy. Both afford the opportunity for the pursuit of an honours degree.

Grade 12 English
Grade 12 Biology or Grade 12 Chemistry
Three additional university preparatory courses are also required. A minimum grade of 70% is required in Grade 12 English. A minimum overall average of 70% is required in the final year of secondary school.
