Examine a prospective on women's activities and experiences by taking a interdisciplinary look at issues such as: women's work and the role of the woman in family in different times and different societies, the development, transmission and perpetuation of ideas and attitudes about women, women's contribution to culture, and the particular concerns and problems of women today.
Students preparing for a career in teaching, administration, government, law, media or social work are encouraged to consider enrolling in a Women's Studies program, since these careers involve consideration of equity issues. A background in Women's Studies would be a definite asset.

A Supplementary Application Form (SAF) is required. Complete and submit the SAF within three weeks of the date of the U of T letter of acknowledgement of the initial OUAC application and no later than March 1 for early consideration; April 1, otherwise. References / interviews / evaluations may also be required.
