Making the Most of Student Life at Seneca

Seneca CollegeStudent life is more than attending classes and writing essays. It’s also about the conversations you have, the accomplishments made, and the people you meet. It is for this reason that Seneca College is so committed to helping its international students make the most of their Canadian experience.

To help familiarize students with their new surroundings, Seneca provides a week-long orientation that covers things such as how to take public transit in the city, local shopping, and trips to area landmarks. Additional informative and social activities take place throughout the year to keep students engaged. Many culturally specific and general interest clubs are also available on campus for students who want to connect with people with similar interests or backgrounds.

In addition, Seneca has a Leadership program which offers a variety of workshops/activities/events to allow students to build their leadership skills and form relationships while earning credits toward different leadership certificates.

Full-time students at Seneca College can also receive an official record of their participation and achievement outside the classroom with the College’s Co-Curricular Record, which documents a student’s on-campus activities and accomplishments while completing an academic program.

With campuses across the Greater Toronto Area, Seneca offers degrees, diplomas and certificates renowned for their quality and respected by employers. Combining the highest academic standards with practical, hands-on learning, expert teaching faculty and the latest technology ensures Seneca graduates are career-ready.
