Making the decision to study abroad and where to study can be a difficult one. As one of the top destinations to study, Canada hosts over 100,000 international students, creating a dynamic multicultural society where students, regardless of ethnic origin, feel at home in Canada.

Humber Institute serves the needs of more than 3000 students who come from more than 95 countries around the world (Why Humber). Upon arrival, students can participate in orientation activities, such as banking and shopping trips, campus tours, and a Meet ‘N’ Greet (Upon Arrival). Active participation in the college community is encouraged through our Passport to Success program in which students can win prizes. A variety of events, such as trips to Niagara Falls, Canada’s Wonderland, and Montreal, are offered throughout the year (Student Events).

With Toronto being one of the nation’s largest employment centres, Humber offers a variety of programs to cover the wide range of interests reflected in today’s job market (Humber Programs). Humber also offers an English for Academic Purposes program for students who wish to improve their verbal and written English skills to prepare them for their program of choice.

Learning from accomplished and industry-connected faculty, students acquire applied training, hands-on skills, and real world experience. Imagine learning in a supportive academic environment where professors are approachable and classrooms reflect the cultural diversity of our land. Imagine entering the workforce with qualifications that are recognized and respected the world over. This is what it means to study at Humber.
