Experience Is A Key To Success In Canada

Many people want to be successful in their life but sometimes it is difficult to figure out where to start. Usually people start with obtaining knowledge. I would like to tell you why sharing experience with other people is a key element in obtaining knowledge and achieving success.

The first step on your road to success is education. It allows you to gain essential knowledge and skills needed for your future field of expertise. Choosing a program in Canada gives you a unique opportunity to take global knowledge from classmates who have firsthand experiences from many different countries.

“I chose this program because I was looking for a full international experience in Canada. My professional background is also in International Business and I am passionate about cultures and trade. Not only does my program have a complete and exciting curriculum, but the focus on developing intercultural competences will help me be more valuable to the large organizations that are looking for professionals with the ability to establish business relationships with people from other cultures.” says Karla Cabrera, International Business Management, Centennial College.

During my studies in the Financial Planning program, I’ve had indispensable experiences. In one particular assignment, we needed to create our own investment portfolio and monitor it during our studies. It helped me to understand how the financial market works and analyze different investment options. I was also involved in volunteering as a Tax preparer and worked in different group projects that helped me to train teamwork skills, and achieve my academic goals.

Taking on new challenges and experiences is essential to obtaining new knowledge!

“I think that one of the most important aspects of studying abroad is the experience of testing yourself on how mature you are to cope with challenges alone. The experience of facing and coping with various challenges abroad has made a positive impact on my problem-solving skills, attitude, independence and capability. What I previously considered to be a problem now I see as an ordinary task to do.” explains Lidiia Komarnytska, Financial Planning, Centennial College.

Therefore, as Kofi Annan said “Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family” and by choosing a program to study you will choose not only your future but also the future of other people around you.
