Putting Together A Strong Application

Save

Now is a great time to apply for admission to Concordia University. Here are the top three things our admissions counsellors are looking for when they review your application.

1/ Academic Achievement

You’ve worked hard at school so far. Your academic records tell the story. Share your electronic copies with us by uploading them when you apply. If your records are in a language other than English or French, please provide a translation by a certified translator.

2/ Language Proficiency

Are your language skills strong enough for you to do well at an English-language university like Concordia? There are all kinds of ways to prove that your English is sufficient for university-level study.

3/ Special Qualifications, Depending On Your Program

Admission to certain programs is based on more than just academic achievement. If you’re applying for Film Production, for example, the selection committee is looking for evidence of your artistic vision, so you’ll need to submit a portfolio of your work and a letter of intent. To see if your program has additional requirements, check the A-Z list.

The deadline for international undergraduate applications is coming up soon: February 1. When you’re ready to apply, go to concordia.ca/apply.

We know that you’ll be eager for a response as soon as possible. You can expect to hear back with an admissions decision sometime in the period between February and June. In the meantime, you can easily keep track of the status of your application through MyConcordia.ca.
