Algonquin is one of Canada’s largest colleges and offers more than 175 programs, including undergraduate and post-graduate programs, diplomas, applied degrees, and specialized post-graduate certificates designed with real-world requirements in mind. More than 1,300 international students from 100+ countries come here each year to gain industry-ready skills and experience on a vibrant, multicultural campus in the heart of Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. You can learn more about life in Ottawa here.

In order to qualify for admission, you’ll need to meet the admission requirements for your country as well as the specific prerequisites for your academic program.

If you don’t have the necessary English prerequisites, you can apply for conditional admittance into your academic program and study in Algonquin’s internationally recognized English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program to upgrade your language skills prior to beginning your academic program.

APPLY EARLY TO INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF BEING ACCEPTED

Many of our programs are highly competitive, and so we strongly encourage you to apply early. All applications for the upcoming 2016-2017 Fall, Winter, and Spring terms that are received by February 1, 2016 will be given equal consideration. Applications received after that date will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis as long as places are available.

Please note that it will take at least two-three weeks for college staff to process your application and send out your admission package.

Once you are accepted into your program, you’ll need to apply for your visa and/or study permit. These documents can take up to three months to process, so you’ll want to apply for them as soon as possible.

We hope you’ll choose Algonquin as your next place of study!
