Thinking about studying in Canada? Think about coming to Humber.

Humber College in Toronto is home to more than 29,000 full-time students – including 3,400 international students from more than 100 different countries. Toronto is known as one of the most multicultural cities in the world, so it’s easy to feel at home here.

Humber offers 160 full-time programs. With so many options to choose from, how do you decide which program is right for you? Be on the lookout for education fairs or school visits that are happening in your area. A recruiter from Humber will be there to answer any questions you might have. Check out Humber’s website for even more info.

So what happens after you land? As an international student, you’ll receive lots of support through Humber’s International Centre. You’ll get special orientation sessions to help with things like opening up a bank account and getting your cell phone set up -- because staying connected is important when you’re far away from your family.

Once you’re here, you can also choose to join the Connect program, which will match you with a peer mentor to help get you adjusted to life at Humber and in Canada. Passport to Success is another program that can help you make friends and develop important learning skills (you could even win some cool prizes!).

For even more fun, you can join other international students on exciting trips to see a major league baseball game, go camping in Algonquin Provincial Park or visit Niagara Falls. These trips will help you get familiar with Toronto and the areas around the city.

Humber is looking forward to welcoming you to Canada!
