To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Centennial College, I was one of over 15,000 Centennial College students, staff, alumni and partners that participated in ‘Paint the Town Green’ around the world. Together, we have cleaned up beaches and planted trees in 11 parks in Toronto and 14 cities (8 countries). See us in action – watch the video!

We are so proud of Centennial College for bringing us together in this significant event to educate people about the environment and global citizenship.

“In my opinion, "Paint the Town Green" is the most meaningful event that I have ever participated in.” says Pham Thi Dai Trang, one of the future Centennial College students that participated in the event in Hai Phong, Vietnam.”

In a congratulatory Letter of Recognition from the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau put his faith in the development of a prestigious institution like Centenial College: "Along with its reputation for innovative programming that emphasizes hands-on learning, Centennial College boasts an exceptional faculty dedicated to supporting the career and personal development of students." - Hon. Justin P.J. Trudeau, P.C., M.P

Paint the Town Green has become a global movement, with activities that have planted trees and cleaned up parks, beaches, and local schools in Panama, Mexico, Brazil, India, Vietnam, China, South Korea, and Canada! Future students around the world are invited to join the movement by particpating in the #Centennial50 Photo Contest!
