Description:Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program is offered as a 4 year, in-person and on campus program taught by skilled faculty who have extensive experience in the field.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program offers students the chance to explore a career that is both challenging and rewarding, where they'll have the opportunity to make a differences in the lives of many. Students combine science and technology with the art of compassion to become exceptional and well-prepared nurses in the field. Through the BScN program at Nipissing, students have the chance to put their knowledge to use through a variety of experiential learning opportunities, including clinical and practicums, real and virtual simulations, labs, and so much more! Clinical experiences are provided at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC), as well as agencies throughout the city, depending on the focus of the practicum. The NBRHC is located within comfortable walking distance of Nipissing's main campus and residence complexes, and offers a convenient, accessible and state-of-the-art facility where you will gain valuable practical experience beginning in your first year.

  •  Grade12 Chemistry 
Applicants are required to have English, Biology, and Chemistry (one Mathematics is recommended).
Although a minimum of 70% cumulative average (including prerequisites) in grade 12 is required, entrance to the nursing program is competitive due to the limited number of seats available. The cut off average is generally between 80-85%.
