Description:Kinesiology (also called Human Kinetics) is the study of the human body in motion. It is a very exciting, and increasingly important, growing field that offers a variety of careers and educational opportunities. Health and Human Performance is designed for students who would like to earn a diploma or degree in Kinesiology.

A diploma or degree in Kinesiology can lead to exciting careers as a: physiotherapist, kinesiologist, massage therapist, personal trainer, athletic trainer, coach, teacher, health care consultant, sport psychologist, exercise physiologist, biomechanics specialist, and sports medicine physician.

Admission Requirements

  •  Grade12 English 
  •  Grade11 Precalculus  or  Grade11 Foundations for College Mathematics (MAP4C) 

Applicants must have a high school diploma, or equivalent. Physical education, or regular participation in sports/physical activity is recommended. Basic Keyboarding, email, internet research, and excel skills are required through the Diploma program.
