This program can be completed in one to three years through online coursework and a four-day in-person laboratory workshop taught on the TRU campus in Kamloops, BC.

If you are an internationally educated nurse who has practiced as an RN and has been assessed by British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP), this program can provide you with the education you need to work in BC.

    A letter of assessment from College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) for applicants seeking initial registration with CRNBC (such as a non-practicing nurse living outside of British Columbia and within Canada) or applying for CRNBC reinstatement is required. Alternatively, applicants may submit documented evidence of passing Canadian Registered Nursing Examination (CRNE) or Canadian Nursing Association Testing Service (CNATS) result; or verification of current annual Registered Nurse Licensure in Canada; or post-secondary transcripts, documented evidence of Registered Nursing practice/employment history, and a program coordinator interview.
