|Description:||In the Electrical Engineering Technology - Control program, students discover electrical and electronic circuit fundamentals, electrical machines and controls, programmable logic controllers, control and digital systems, power distribution, and projection and control. This co-op course brings students into the electrical control field through training in theory and laboratory practice.
Graduates are eligible to register as associate members of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). Electrical engineering technicians and technnologists may work in industrial, commercial, and government organizations; light and heavy manufacturing; pulp and paper; steel mills; chemical plants; refineries; and power utilities.
