Description:The Business Administration – Human Resources (Co-op) program focuses on teaching students the full range of human resources functions. Among these will be: human resources planning; recruitment and selection; training and development; compensation; performance management; and human resources management systems. Because human resources, as a strategic partner, guarantees an organization has the best pool of talent to pioneer, compete and be at the top of its industry, students in this Human Resources program will learn how to enable a proactive perspective. As such, they will become adept at ensuring organizational success through the attraction, retention and development of any company’s most vital asset — its employees. Students will also explore trends to prepare for the challenges of today and tomorrow's work environment. Lastly, they will complement their development of human resources skills with highly marketable payroll knowledge.

The Business Administration – Human Resources (Co-op) program will give students the option of working three paid co-op terms. Through this experience, they will explore different areas of the field, pinpoint their interests, develop business connections and gain direct hands-on experience.
