|Description:||Graphic designers play a key role in determining how we interact with the world. We see the work of graphic designers across all media platforms — print, digital, social, environmental, and experiential. If you're considering a career as a graphic designer, you will be part of a vibrant creative industry, one of Canada's largest employers.
UFV offers a 2-year Graphic and Digital Design diploma as well as a minor and extended minor in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. The Graphic and Digital Design Diploma (GDD) introduces the creative industry through communication design, brand identity, packaging, publishing, interactive design, and motion graphics. With an emphasis on problem solving, students are immersed in real world projects, issues and contexts. Students work in an innovative environment using industry standard software and Macintosh computers.
