Description:If you’re creative and organized, then a career in arts management or cultural administration might be right for you. You could launch an exciting new career in arts marketing, fundraising, publicity, music management, event planning and much more. The Arts and Cultural Management Diploma program comprises two years of full time study and practice. We still offer the flexibility of a certificate exit after one year, but to maximize your knowledge in arts management we encourage you to complete the Diploma program.

The online option of study is ideal if on-campus course times don't fit into your schedule, or if you live outside the greater Edmonton area. Courses are organized into a series of modules that are completed over a four month schedule. These courses mirror the classroom delivery approach, with access to a faculty tutor and online discussion with other students.

  •  Grade12 English 

Applicants must have an Alberta high school diploma (or equivalent) OR applicants must have a minimum overall average of 65 percent, with no course grade lower than 50 percent, in the following high school courses: ELA 30-1 or ELA 30-2, one Group A course, one Group B course, one Group C course or Applied Math 30, and one Group A, B or C course. Applicants must complete the Skills Appraisal only if they do not present ELA 30-1 with a minimum grade of 65 percent or ELA 30-2 with a minimum grade of 75 percent.

Additional Admission Requirements:
    Applicants are required to submit a completed program questionnaire – to demonstrate effective communication skills, prior knowledge and interest in the arts sector.
