Description:SFU’s Engineering Physics option introduces students to a unique blend of science, mathematics, engineering design and practice as well as computer skills – all combined with a strong focus on theoretical and applied physics. A challenging program, it was designed to build on the strengths of the School of Engineering Science and the Physics Department and it focuses on optics, opto-electronics, advanced semiconductor devices and microelectronics.

Your admission average is calculated on six approved grade 12 courses, as specified below.

ENG 4U, MHF 4U or MCV 4U, SCH 4U, SPH 4U, and two other courses coded 4U/4M or DU/DM (acceptable International, Classical and Native Language courses must be completed at the Grade 12 (DU/DM) level).
