Computer Software Engineering
|Description:||The Software Option in Computer Engineering offers students a more focused approach to the study of software development. It carefully considers engineering design principles, discrete and continuous mathematics, logic, and the theory of software.
Cooperative education in engineering incorporates a paid, supervised work experience component into the engineering degree program. Co-op students gain valuable experience through full-time employment during work terms sequenced with academic terms. The cooperative degree requires five years—in addition to eight, four-month terms of full-time study, students complete five, four-month work terms. These consist of full-time, paid employment in a position related to their field of study.
