Biology students study wild and wonderful creatures in their natural habitats and explore the many mechanisms behind human health and heredity. Laboratory experience and hands-on field research are central parts of the program. You could be conducting field research in the Rocky Mountains, analyzing DNA, growing plants, rearing fish, using biological proxies to reconstruct past climates, and much more.
