Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Residency - As a regional veterinary college, the WCVM accepts applicants who are residents of the four western provinces and the northern territories. The pre-veterinary course requirements consist of 60 credits of required and elective courses.

    A minimum, cumulative average of 75 per cent is needed to be considered for admission.

    Applicants are required to have both experience and good knowledge of animals and the veterinary profession to be successful in gaining admission. The diversity, quality, depth and breadth of animal and veterinary experiences are assessed in the interview.

    • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 85] or Pearson Test of English (Academic) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 86]
