Prerequisites NotesApplicants are required to have at a minimum, the following college/university level courses from a recognized post-secondary institution, each with a minimum 'B' (3.00/4.33) grade: six credits (two courses) in chemistry with a laboratory component in at least one course, six credits (two courses) in biology, six credits (two courses) in math or physics (may include three credits of statistics), with at least one course in linear algebra or calculus, and six credits (two courses) in writing or communications. Applicants are also required to have completion of an approved transfer program with an overall 'B' (3.00/4.33) GPA; or completion of prerequisite courses with a minimum 'B' (3.00/4.33) grade in each, and completion of an Arts or Science diploma, or 60 credits, including a minimum of 24 second-year credits, with a minimum GPA of 'B' (3.00/4.33), from a recognized post-secondary institution. DescriptionThe BSc in Environmental Management is an integrated, interdisciplinary program that provides the skills, knowledge and tools to identify and assess the qualitative, scientific, and technical components of environmental issues. Students will acquire and apply relevant skills and knowledge in the fields of environmental ecology, atmospheric and ocean sciences, geomorphology, soil sciences, environmental hydrology and remediation. Students will examine global issues through land use planning, global processes, tools for management and decision-making and, will integrate their skills to address environmental issues from a sustainability perspective.

This is a degree completion program, encompassing years three and four of a four-year undergraduate degree. The BSc in Environmental Management is a two year, interdisciplinary program that combines three intensive three-week on campus residencies with online learning at a distance. This blended-delivery model will allow you to complete your degree while continuing to work.
