Description | Mechanical engineering is perhaps the most versatile of the engineering disciplines. It deals with machinery; manufacturing, energy, aerospace, automotive, nuclear, materials, and transportation technology; bioengineering; and other applications.
Carleton University’s Mechanical Engineering program emphasizes engineering fundamentals and challenging laboratory and design work. We offer one of the most advanced programs in Canada, which teaches our mechanical engineering students how to work effectively under a variety of conditions.
