Algonquin College's beautiful Waterfront Campus is surrounded by scenic countryside, forests, lakes, and rivers — the perfect location for some of the most exhilarating outdoor programs on Earth — everything from Outdoor Adventure to Forestry programs. We are located in the City of Pembroke, approximately 140 km northwest of downtown Ottawa. Our programs also cover a wide variety of full and part-time offerings in Business, Technology, Health, and Community Studies.
Our outdoor programs include Action Sports & Park Development, Environmental Technician, Forestry Technician, Outdoor Adventure, Outdoor Adventure Naturalist, and Urban Forestry - Arboriculture. We also have a long history of educating health care professionals.
Our Pembroke Campus offers a variety of services to enhance your student experience. These services include a Fitness Zone and full-sized Gymnasium, Bookstore, Campus Employment Services, Food Services, 2-story Library, and a social area run by our Students' Association. Students at our Pembroke Campus also have the opportunity to secure housing with three privately run residences within walking distance of our campus.
