Canada has approximately 31 million people.

More than 80 per cent of Canadians live in towns and cities in the southern areas within 250 kilometres of the United States border.

With only three people per square kilometer, Canada has the fourth lowest population density in the world.

Canada has many cultural events and traditions. The Hotel de Glace in Quebec is built every year using 400 tons of ice and 12,000 tons of snow. Every summer it melts away and every winter it is rebuilt.

According to the 2011 Census, Canada has one of the largest labour forces with 68.5% of the population at working-age.
