Modern Languages School: Bishop's University Faculty: Continuing Education Degree: Certificate Field of Study: Arabic Language and Literature English as a Second Language French as a Second Language German Language and Literature Italian Language and Literature Japanese Language and Literature Russian Language and Literature Spanish Language and Literature Description: The certificate in modern languages is a program of degree-credit designed to provide part-time students with a working knowledge of at least two of the modern languages taught at Bishop's University : Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and/or Spanish. Credits obtained in the certificate program may be applied towards a degree program in modern languages; however, students may not be enrolled simultaneously in a degree program and the Modern Languages certificate program. Admission Requirements Grade for Entrance Previous Year (%)*: 75 Prerequisites: These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Grade 12 English Applicants should have Grade 12 English.
