Statistics uses modern computing to organize and analyze data; statisticians command specialized tools, but the emphasis is on understanding the data and the problem to be solved.

The Faculty of Science offers programs of study leading to either the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
