| Description: |
The Greek and Roman foundations of Western civilization are the focus of the Classical Studies interdisciplinary program. You may study ancient history, mythology, archaeology, the classical education system, the epic poems of Homer, or read religious and romance novels in Latin. You will acquire an introductory level knowledge of Greek or Latin, and an in-depth understanding of the features of democratic culture and society.
Career opportunities may be found in civil service, teaching, law, museums, and public relations.
