| Description: |
The objective of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program is to provide the graduate with a broad background in engineering materials, energy conversion and transmission, computer applications in design and manufacturing, along with the mathematical and communication skills required to function effectively as part of an engineering team.
In order to give students some paid, practical experience in the field, four co-op work terms are spread throughout the second and third years. Graduates and final year students are eligible to register as associate members of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).

Applicants must have a high school diploma, or equivalent. Students are recommended to take senior physics and chemistry.
