Description: The Department of English offers a wide selection of courses in the literature of Canada, Great Britain, the United States, and other English-speaking countries. It also offers a series of courses on creative writing. The discipline of English trains students to analyze, develop an argument, and polish writing and speaking skills.

To complete the co-op option, students must complete three work terms of four months, alternating work and study terms; or complete a 12- to 16-month internship between their third and fourth year of study. The work terms are non-credit courses recognized on the student’s transcript of marks, with applicable tuition fees.
