While the undergraduate programs in Psychology are not designed to provide preparation for specific careers, their content is fundamental to a large number of vocations. Most obvious are those involving education and social services. Psychology courses are often part of a training program or are prerequisites for degrees in areas such as nursing, education, speech pathology, law enforcement, and public administration.
