Classical Physics includes topics that you may have already studied at an elementary level, such as mechanics, heat, light, electricity, and magnetism. Modern physics includes the study of the structure and properties of matter, such as fundamental particle physics, atomic physics, spectroscopy, and solid state physics; biophysics, in which physical measurements are applied in biology; and astrophysics which is considered a branch of astronomy.
Students can choose a specialization in Applied Physics, Astrophysics, Biophysics, Chemical Physics, Mathematical Physics, or Quantum Computing.
