Modern physics includes the study of the structure and properties of matter, such as fundamental particle physics, atomic physics, spectroscopy, and solid state physics; biophysics, in which physical measurements are applied in biology; and astrophysics which is considered a branch of astronomy. Students can choose a specialization in Applied Physics, Astrophysics, Biophysics, Chemical Physics, Mathematical Physics, or Quantum Computing.
