Cabinet Making School: Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning Faculty: Humber North Campus / School of Applied Technology Degree: Certificate Field of Study: Cabinetmaking and Millwork/Millwright Description: Humber's Cabinet Making program prepares you to construct beautiful cabinets and fine furniture using recognized, traditional trade practices, as well as new technologies. Students complete projects using various types of woodworking joints produced by hand tools, portable power tools, and machine tools. Graduates will be able to lay out, calculate, cut, machine, assemble, and finish a cabinet or a piece of fine furniture. Graduates of this program can gain employment building store fixtures, architectural millwork, in furniture construction, and in the kitchen cabinet industry.
