| Description: |
Recognized by The Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute. The Urban and Regional Planning program is in the business of educating planning professionals adept at community building. Our graduates figure prominently among Canadian planners, who enjoy a strong international reputation.
The Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP), through its provincial affiliate, the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), recognizes the program. Our graduates are therefore exempt from one of two membership exams, and require fewer years of professional experience to qualify for full membership with CIP - often a requirement for planning jobs.
