Law enforcement, today, involves policing socially, ethnically, and technologically diverse communities. Consequently, at least 80 percent of those hired in this vocational sector have post-secondary education. As a graduate of this program, you will be sought out by municipal, provincial, and national police services in Canada, as well as by private policing agencies. Take on interesting and important challenges in a variety of settings as a police officer, customs officer, immigration officer, or correctional officer.
Employers of previous Humber graduates include the Ontario Provincial Police, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, the Toronto Police Service, Peel Regional Police, York Regional Police, and Durham Regional Police.
