This one year college diploma includes a one month internship to gain work experience. Computer Graphic Design students learn design fundamentals, lettering and typography and graphic design using sophisticated software such as Quark Express, In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator. Students are also taught web fundamentals using Flash and Dreamweaver to create a website to display their portfolio.
Each student works on a 24" iMac and each year the College offers an Art Show for Employers to view the students' portfolios.
High School Graduate or higher or Mature Student status (19 years of age) and be creative. A portfolio is not required as the students will create their own portfolio while attending Herzing College.
