Orchestral Instrument School: The University of British Columbia Faculty: Music Degree: Bachelor Field of Study: Music Performance, General Description: The Major in an Orchestral Instrument is formulated for students who plan to become professional performers or teachers in schools of music or private studios. Although solo performance is stressed, all students in this program will constantly participate in large and small ensemble activity. Solo recitals are required at the end of the third and fourth years.
