Emphasis is on music history, theory and performance. Courses range from symphonic music to jazz. The relationship between popular music and culture can be studied. Other areas are computer applications in music and the psychology of music.

Grade 12 English
Five other 4U or 4M courses are also required; a final grade of at least 70% in a 4U English is required.
