The Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science is a unique program that prepares you for a wide range of careers in the professions, government and industry. Over the course of the program you will increase your understanding of the purposes and methods of the humanities and social and natural sciences and develop an integrated and holistic approach to the pursuit of wisdom and knowledge. You will increase your skills in written and oral communication, in critical and imaginative thinking, and quantitative reasoning. You will also gain valuable experience in research into issues of personal and public concern.
Moreover, you will have close contact with professors actively engaged in exciting research either on scientific questions or issues in politics, history, economics, philosophy, etc. Finally, you will find yourself a member of a small select number of students on campus who are especially dedicated to getting as much out of their university years as they can.
