This program is designed for students seeking a sound academic background for work with children, but not necessarily a professional qualification. It has a large elective component so that students have an opportunity to broaden their studies in other areas-for example, art, music, drama, exercise science, family life, second languages, or communications. Areas of concentration include Administration in Childhood Settings, Exceptional Children in Childhood Settings, and Children and Technology.
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
