UOIT's Physics program provides a foundation in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science. Students can elect to take a comprehensive program of study or specialize one of three streams -- Energy and the Environment, Forensic Physics, and Medical Physics. All physics students, regardless of specialization, complete a common first year of study allowing them the flexibility to explore their options before selecting a definitive course of study

Grade 12 English
2 of: Grade 12 Biology or Grade 12 Chemistry or Grade 12 Physics or Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors
Grade 12 Advanced Functions
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or mature student status with a minimum overall average of 70 per cent on six 4U or 4M credits including English (ENG4U), Advanced Functions (MHF4U) and two of Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U), Biology (SBI4U), Chemistry (SCH4U) or Physics (SPH4U), as well as a combined minimum average of 70 per cent in math and science courses.
