The Biology core curriculum is built around the basic sciences of biochemistry and microbiology. Its strong applied focus emphasizes skills development, problem-solving, and technological innovation, particularly in the areas of biotechnology and environmental science. Additional courses in liberal studies and communication broaden your cultural understanding and enhance your effectiveness in conveying scientific ideas to society.
