The program objective is to train potential first-line production technicians for the graphic industry to improve productivity and efficiency and provide advanced training, which is needed to maintain and enhance Canada’s competitive position in the industry.
Students will gain good solid technical principles and skills for print and web production. They will also study the details of computer page layout and project composition using standardized industry applications on leased laptop computers, as well as understand how to prepare digital files and compose digital photographic images for print and web production standards.
