Biotechnology is an integrative technology with several scientific disciplines, such as cell biology, chemistry, physics, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, fermentation and bioinformatics. The professors in this program have firsthand expertise in medical technology, genomics, molecular cytogenetics and bioinformatics.

Grade 12 Mathematics
2 of: Biology or Chemistry or Physics
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, Grade 12 Compulsory English (ENG4C or ENG4U), any Gr 12 Math (C) or (U), and two (2) of the following sciences: Biology Gr 11 or 12 (C) or (U), (SBI 3C, SBI 3U, SBI 4U),Chemistry: Gr 11 or 12 (C) or (U), (SCH 3U,SCH 4U, SCH 4C); Physics: Gr 11 or 12 (C) or (U), (SPH 3U, SPH 4U, SPH 4C).
