The Department of Anthropology at the University of Lethbridge provides students with a strong background with a wide variety of courses in its B.A. program in the discipline, from the history of the discipline to contemporary theory and practice. As an important part of the University's liberal arts curriculum, the program also helps students better understand themselves and their own society and culture in relation to those from other social and cultural backgrounds, a goal that is especially important in Canada's multicultural context.
