Description:
Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment in Canadore’s Electrical Techniques program. The electrical field is a growing industry in both the residential and commercial construction sector. With the introduction of smart homes and wireless connections, there is an increased demand in the sectors, presenting new and profitable job opportunities for skilled workers.
This program deals with aspects of electrical construction related to residential and commercial environments. Program learning objectives have been designed to reflect the outcomes of the basic level Electrical Apprenticeship program. Students develop competencies in basic electricity, network cabling and electrical system installation. Related instruction in mathematics, prints and installations and trade calculations is included to enable students to meet the qualifications requested by employers. A variety of laboratory and field projects are undertaken to provide actual practice situations.

Grade 12 English
