This program gives you a solid grounding in the history of art and an awareness of current critical discussions and debates in the field. Courses focus on twentieth-century and contemporary North American and European art practice and theory. We use an interdisciplinary approach in these programs, making sure to examine topics and themes from different theoretical points of view or perspectives (historical, post-colonial, feminist, etc.). As a result, the training you receive paves the way for a career not only in the arts sector itself, but also in education.
