Adventure Tourism Training

Description: This program will provide students with an introduction to the adventure tourism industry. They will acquire basic motor and safety skills in a wide range of adventure-based activities, as well as an introduction to the theoretical and business aspects of the industry. Graduates of this program will be qualified for entry-level employment within a wide range of adventure tourism venues, or to pursue further studies.

This is an eight-month certificate program, beginning in January. Applications are accepted beginning August 1 of each year. Please contact ATT coordinator Roger Friesen at 604-504 7441, local 4297, for more information.
